Acknowledgments

The creation and continued existence of the Centre for Japanese Research as well as it various endeavors and the two endowed chairs housed within the Centre have been made possible by very generous donations from governments, association, firms and private individuals. Past donors are listed below and their contributions are very gratefully acknowledged.

CJR continues to seek funding to expand activities in a number of areas, particularly in supporting on-going programs and graduate students, bringing distinguished speakers to campus as well as in raising the profile of research on Japan within UBC, Canada and the world through donations to the CJR endowment. Should you be interested in making such a donation, please contact CJR or the College for Interdisciplinary Studies' Development Office.
