The Institute of Asian Research's Teaching Committee is the body through which program decions are made. Comprised of IAR faculty members the Teaching Committee discusses issues such as course planning and scheduling as well as program development and innovation.
Two members of MAAPPSSA (elected by their peers) sit on the Teaching Committee to bring forward issues and ideas on behalf of the MAAPPS students.
There are approximately 6-8 meetings per year.
