Losar Tashi Delek. Thank you to those who have submitted panel proposals and to all the people who have sent their abstracts.
1) Panels. So far I have received 20 panel proposals. However, there are a huge numbers of individual papers which we will be trying fit into some thematic scheme. Please be patient: once we have devised a system, I will be posting the list of panels on the website.
2)Individual Papers. Although I have tried to reply to individual applicants, I have found it time-consuming and difficult to respond to each and every one of you. Therefore, only those of you whose paper has been rejected will be informed. If you have submitted a paper and haven’t received a rejection letter, please assume your paper has been accepted.

We have made arrangements with UBC accommodation services and secured very reasonable rates for members of IATS. We have set up an online booking service through which you will pay the UBC accommodation service
We recommend those who are attending IATS as observers to book their accommodation with Carey Centre.
Those requiring invitations and letters of support for their visa applications, please email your names as spelt on your passport or travel documents and passport numbers. We will be happy to send the necessary supporting letters.
We are not in a position to offer funding at this stage. However, we are hoping to provide some support to participants from South Asia and China or graduate students in need of funds. Unfortunately we are unable to make this decision right now as we are still in the process of raising funds, and if there are additional funds procured from the registration fees it may be possible to provide support. We will know this only in May 2010.
